But the giant one has discovered that it is only his paws that are forbidden. And since he is tall enough to simply sit on the couch, he continues to push the limit on the "rules".
Sitting on the couch is a very common tendency with Great Danes. We did not teach him this, he just does it.
But he also seems to think he is a lap dog and LOVES to snuggle with Brad. But this picture was too fun not to share. Here is our little lap dog snuggling with his daddy:
