Baby steps

Jacob continues to be wary of changing walking surfaces. He will bend down and touch them with his hands. But there is great concern about crawling or walking on them. We went to another park to practice overcoming some of Jacob's fears. He still thinks tan bark is ultra scary. But we worked on his fear of the grass with great success.

He started out walking to the edge and just looking:

Then I used my keys to try and lure him out, but he wasn't so sure:

I worked my magic and convinced him to try:

Then he did it all by himself:

He will now crawl and walk on the front lawn all by himself!
