Evidence
Appearing
Real
Have you ever experienced an irrational fear?
You know, when reality is this:
But you see this:
It could be heights, small enclosures, or any number of things. But the bottom line is: sometimes things are not what they seem. And F.E.A.R. is not always used for the self-preservation it is designed for. Sometimes it is only a barrier between us and our potential.
Surely a good dose of healthy fear is natural and beneficial. A fear of heights causes us to protect our physical safety and preserve life in some instances. But with proper safety equipment we can achieve pretty amazing things:
IF we can conquer the fear.
These past two weeks Brad and I have been on a mission to move passed F.E.A.R. and step out in faith. Some of you have asked if everything is okay since I have been vague about the details of Brad's job change. The simple truth is we are now on God's errand and are following a very clear path He has mapped out for us. Our Heavenly Father has helped us to strap on our safety harnesses, helmets, and ropes and is leading the way up the rock face. We promised to get ourselves out of debt and He is showing us the route He wants us to take.
That first step was the hardest and it was an awful lot like staring the huge nasty spider in face. But now that we are passed the first step, the spider seems awfully small and insignificant. Heavenly Father is providing all that we need. And we will sing His praises all the way to the top of the rock face. Thank you for your prayers and support. We are truly blessed to have y'all in our lives.
