Family Man

This weekend Brad went from driving this:

To this:

He is not nearly as disappointed as the kids and I are. In fact, he seems kind of excited about his new "practical" car.

But the "fast car" will be missed. There were a lot of fun memories made with that car. Trips to Disneyland. Anniversary trips. Bella even rode in the "fast car". It was a sight to be seen: ears and lips blowing in the breeze.

That car was the ultimate distraction for cranky kids. Drew would play in the "fast car" indefinitely. All three kids would argue about who got to ride in the fast car when we were dividing them up for separate errands.

But now that we have 4 children we need both of our vehicles to accommodate 2 children and an adult at any given time. Before, no matter how we divided them, the kids would fit in either the convertible or the van. But now there is the potential for a 2/2 split, so there must be seats and belts for at least 3 bodies.

I wonder if there will ever be a two-seater car in our driveway again... It sure was fun...
